Jenny comes out to stake a claim in her brother's name after he tragically dies. Cody and Nigel are men thrown together by the hard life of a mining camp and do quite well together. Cody who is Jenny's brothers best friend, discovers her and through a decision he and Nigel become her guardians.The story is original but there was not character development of the men much except their lust.
The pace was fine until the last 20% of the book and the ending was rushed.
This story had no real substance and Only a touch of age play flavor.
A bit disappointed but still good overall.

I loved this book even though I'm not too partial to westerns. I loved the dynamic between the Main characters and that the bad guy was really gross yucky and I could root for the good guys. Five stars for sure! !!!
Life has thrown this beauty a curve, Jenny Beaumont, has lost her brother and is merely existing. She has come to claim on her brother behalf. Can she pull off the charade? And danger is all around what will she do, no family, no prospects. Under all that material is a beauty. Cody Drake and Nigel Simms are looking for adventure and looking for gold. What they never expected was to find a pint size beauty, in the guise of a young man. What they are proposing has never been done,not in those parts but what can they do when duty and honor call. She has become a ward/ a little, Jenny thrives and grows to love her guardians but when jealousy shows its ugly head, will it come between the friends ? She must figure out what to do. Once again she is looking for trouble and trouble finds her. Can they work through it all? They will do whatever they have to to protect and cherish, love and honor. And Can she love her men and stay alive when the danger threatens to consume her? With each book, Ava Sinclair captivated and seduces us. Each book transports us to another reality. The book is outstanding and everything you come to expect from Ms. Sinclair, the characters are endearing and leave you feeling like your visiting family. The age play dynamic is perfectly written, the plot wasn't rush, the story just embraces you! This book will leave you addicted!! Definitely a must read!

It was an okay story
do better homework and research if your going to try and write about the gold rush era.
Highly enjoyable quick read, and therein lies the problem....just too short! Need more! 😀😀
The story could have been hot but steamy scenes lacked sizzle and read a bit like a a journalist wrote them. Not enough dialogue among the characters and author didn't spend enough time on the emotional dynamic of the characters other than to say they had one. Kind of reminded me of how I felt about Jamie Dornan's performance in 50 Shades...kinda phoned in.
